Hello, really well made remake,i thnk to have found a bug in the screen in the first level where should arrive a Stone from the right to left to let you jump over and go forward to the game. The stone dont come after the first play.
My first opinion is « Bravo !!! ». :-) I loooove the original on my Atari ST and love it on my Amiga… But… General feeling is not the same. I know very well the first level and the traps don’t react as in the original. But not a real problem, just take it as a new game ;-) But two issues IMO : In the original, when you die (and so… retry !), ammos are full back ! Not here… so difficult to survive without… Second issue but perhaps only with the Vampire 4SA : impossible to use the dynamit with space bar…
I’ll try on my A1200.
But, good job for this amazing game ! Hope I will love this like the original for years :-D
Have anybody gotten this to work on the A500 mini? I get as far as the scorpion splash screen, then the screen goes dark before I am pushed out to the main menu without any error messages.

Hi, I am dissapointet. The game has many bugs. I am playing on WIN 11. Invisble walls blocking Ricks movement. It is not realy playable. Try and Error, Try and Error.
And I have also no background music in the intro / menue. The merch-Video is far behind the product is my feeling. I am sad about the 10$ donation :(
Hi there.. I could not get it to work on my A500 Mini. I followed the instructions as I understood them and I got to the scorpion splashscreen and it sat there for a few seconds before the screen going black. Then a few seconds later the whole game exited and I got sent back to the main menu.
I see there is an alternate config that's mentioned here in the comments and I tried that one, but with the same result. Is there a solution to this?
I found a bug - when passed to one area, Rick disappeared, then died. Then the screen scrolled up to this place, and I can't play anymore. Can't die or move. I used all my bombs, and they didn't explode to kill me.
Thank you for changing the controls to be more direct an precise! I noticed several minor changes in the level design and there are several collision bugs but you are on a pretty good way.
Nice update to this classic! Any plans to implement the original controls, or at least support 2 button joystick? How to activate the staff? It used to be fire + left/right, but fire seems to activate the gun instantly.
yes, this is my notice as well. Current control makes it unplayable. The control should be as original. And looks like some differences in level design. I love RD, but I can't play it with such controls (who would play with space bomb?). I can live with the level changes - but my muscle memory will not love it ;)

xrick existe deja sur android mais j'aurais aimé recodé rick 1 avec les excellements graphismes de votre version, sont-ils accessibles d'une maniere ou d'une autre?

merci, mais pour l'instant les graphismes ne sont pas accessibles, le jeux n'est pas terminé, et il y a eu un travail énorme pour ripper les graphismes de la version Wii qui était sortie il y a qq années, (frame par frame et ensuite détourage Background, Foreground, Sprites, 32 c...)
In it's current state the controls need work and the character control isn't tight enough, even the initial part sliding to the side to avoid the inital boulder. The big thing with the original was how tight the controls are. The bombs also need to be assigned as per the orignals by pressing fire and down. Graphically it does look nice but it needs tightening. Also the first part I need to use a bomb somehow I dropped through the ground and was stuck.
It already looks great. Of course, it would be nice if the CD32 version would stand out a bit from the ADF. For example, with videos or CD audio. Of course, these are only suggestions. In any case, you are doing a good job.
Hi! Which Kickstart do you recommend to run the game on WinUAE/FS-UAE? I have tried several, but the game freezes after the first logo (emulators set on A1200 with 1MB RAM)
I really love your work but I have to say that the current player controls with its momentum (so Rick does not start and stop immediately) totally breaks the game for me. It just feels totally wrong seeing Rick sliding through the levels and dying unnecessary deaths. Please consider changing this to direct controls like in the original games.
Great stuff guys but absolutely +1 on this. Please please can you re-align the control back in line with tightness of the original - its a classic & you are sooo close to making a genuine improvement on it

I loved the original, but never made it without a trainer ;-) This looks so much better, I love new Amiga Games. Please continue, donated something to you.

Game works fine on 030 nd 060 Amigas. EXIT to Workbench works too.
The graphic is brilliant!
I miss the jungle/music before every level, as was in original game.
Action in game is more dynamite than in original, and now i prefer this new version :-)
I found bug - sometime, some traps are not activated correctly.
Is could be control via keyboard in game?
On SumA1200 and Lyra2 (on A4000) works only space key for dynamite.

I play this on Windows, but there are some glitches, looks like vsync issue, and I want to control resolution.

ah ok, j'aurai aimé juste le level 1 pour coder la base du jeu mais tant pis...
je suis prêt a investir un peu (mais pas trop vu que je ne compte pas vendre le jeu final pour l'instant)

All AGA computers came with KickStart 3.x, and 2MB RAM.
